title, are actually produced by the same
mind as the sleeping man.
According to Goya, fantasy is the basis of all creations. If this is left delirious in an uncontrolled way, without the support of reason, it will lead to monsters and to many non-existent elements; if, on the other hand, reason is awake and combines with fantasy, in an intimate union between rule and genius, an

instrument with an inexhaustible power is created."
